Children will have a weekly music session with Miss Rose, where they will get the chance to play and explore a range of musical instruments.

Playing Together

Learn and remember 5 new  songs to sing alone, with a partner and in a group

Recognise and tap 4 beat  rhythms from known songs

Learn to play gradually faster and slower on percussion instruments.

 MATHS

Number and Pattern: Counting, counting andordering, addition, comparing and ordering, patterns.

 

Shape, Space and Measure: Measuring lengths andheights, capacity, 2D shapes, 3D shapes.

PD

Children will have P.E with Coach Lewis this term. They will be focusing on body management, cooperating to solve problems, manipulations and coordinations andspeed, agility & travel.

Withintheir independent choosing time, children have free access to the outdoor areaand we will continue to visit the garden on a weekly basis this term.

 

Within the provision and during adult led activities, children will:

Manipulate a range of tools and equipment in one hand, including scissors andpaintbrushes.

Continueto work on pencil grip (using the tripod grip)

Continue to work on letter formation to write recognisable letters independently

Continue to grow our independence in dressing ourselves - working on zips and buttons!
