The Belham Launches Free Breakfast Club as Part of DfE Pilot Scheme
The Belham Primary School is thrilled to announce the launch of its Free Breakfast Club, running from 8:00 to 8:45 AM, as part of a Department for Education (DfE) pilot scheme aimed at supporting children with a healthy and engaging start to the day.
The club offers a variety of nutritious breakfast options, including cereal, toast, fruit, and yoghurt, alongside fun activities such as LEGO, crafts, games, and sports to help pupils prepare for a productive school day.
For families needing earlier drop-offs, the school is also offering a paid add-on session from 7:30 to 8:00 AM for just £2.50.
Our headteacher expressed excitement about being chosen for the initiative, saying:
"We are delighted to be part of this fantastic scheme. A good breakfast and morning activities set our pupils up for success, and we look forward to seeing the positive impact on their learning and wellbeing."
The new initiative underscores the school’s commitment to supporting families and enhancing pupil wellbeing, ensuring every child starts the day energized, engaged, and ready to learn.
