This week, Reception had a warm visit from some minibeasts! We got to meet a bearded dragon, a Giant Land Snail, a Fire Bellied Toad, a Native False Widow Spider and Rusty the Corn Snake! We also saw the shed skin of a tarantula, a Madagascan Cockroach and some giant grasshoppers. As we have been learning all about minibeasts, the children were delighted to be able to see and hold some in real life. They really showed their bravery by having a go at either stroking or holding the minibeasts.
